A wood rendition of the future home of the "Trail of Tears" Interpretive center. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 displaced over 100,000 Native American Indians from their ancestral homes in the Southeastern U.S. to a reservation over 1,000 miles away (now Oklahoma) and 2 of the trails they used passed through Giles County. This museum will be dedicated to those displaced individuals.
